There is a huge range of useful information out there! We hope to give you hands-on practice finding information from a variety of useful free websites, using topics commonly asked about in the field of primary care as examples. The session will also cover strategies to help with information overload. We have developed a website listing useful resources in broad subject categories and these are the resources we will be using for this session. We want the website be of ongoing use to you, so please bring suggestions for your favourite websites to be added, and give feedback on the usefulness of the sites currently included. Check it out at http://www.library.auckland.ac.nz/subjects/med/primary_care.htm. Biographies: Sue and Anne both work in the Information Services team at the Philson Library, The University of Auckland, Sue as Manager and Anne as a Subject Librarian. Assisting students and academic staff in a wide range of health disciplines, plus staff of the Auckland District Health Board has given them a wealth of experience in literature searching and finding information.
